First National Bank supports American Legion Post 36

    First National Bank recently announced a $1,500 contribution to American Legion Post 36 toward community banners honoring veterans in the Boothbay Region.

    The veterans banner program committee began in the summer of 2023 and by November, 73 banners were produced and displayed on telephone poles throughout Boothbay. Since then, 257 more requests for banners have been submitted. To fully fund the program, American Legion Post 36 has set a fundraising goal of $25,000.

    “We’re proud to support American Legion Post 36 to honor those community members that have served our country,” said First National Bank’s Alyssa Allen.
