‘Little old lady’ identified

Dear Editor,

I enjoyed the article about Walter Sherman (Oct. 15, 2009, "Walter Sherman Remembers Wiscasset In the Early Days").
The "little old lady" who ran the shoe store was Minnie Lewis and she lived in the "Beanville" section of town.
