State Epidemiologist to Speak on Avoiding Lyme Disease

With springtime hiking and other outdoor activities just ahead, the public is invited to "How Not to Get Lyme Disease." Quarry Hill and Camden Public Library have cosponsored this event for adults age 55-plus on Wednesday, April 16, from 1 - 2:30 p.m. at the Camden Public Library. State epidemiologist Stephen D. Sears, MD, MPH, of the Maine CDC is the featured speaker.

Dr. Sears' talk will focus on symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the rampant tick-borne disease. The event is part of Quarry Hill's series, Adventures in Living Well.
