Benefit Dinner: “A Taste of Bologna”

Lovers of great Italian food will want to make reservations now for this four-course feast! The evening's menu will be prepared and presented by visiting chef Stefano Corvucci, owner of the Culinary Institute of Bologna. The evening will begin at 5:30 with wine, appetizers and a talk by internationally acclaimed food writer Nancy Harmon Jenkins on the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet. The dinner menu will showcase traditional Bolognese fare and feature Maine-made ingredients. FIORE Artisan Olive Oils & Vinegars will be providing their extra virgin olive oils and aged balsamic vinegars. Chef Stefano will introduce and discuss each course as it is served, with complimentary wine pairings from Cellardoor Winery. Half of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Music & Memory program at Quarry Hill, a music-based initiative designed to help those with dementia reconnect with their memories, their loved ones and themselves.
