Nothing is more precious than watching children try to shop for their parents or their brothers and sisters at the Holidays. They want to surprise them. They want to make their recipients SMILE!!

 The Friends of the Library will be answering this wonderful call on Saturday, December 10 from 9 am until 2pm at the Wiscasset Library. The hostesses will be graciously assisting children anxiously gripping their money, into the Santa’s Workshop, without their parents. They will assist each child in finding gifts for the people on their list at very discounted pricing. Each gift will be wrapped and the children will join their parents, who have enjoyed browsing the library or enjoying a magazine.

 There will be lovely gifts for the parents to browse through as well, from books to paintings to unique gifts for friends and family, as well. These items will remain on sale at the library for two additional weeks.

 All proceeds will do to the Friends of the Library to assist in their fundraising efforts.

Come and enjoy the Spirit of Christmas and the love of children during the Wiscasset Holiday Marketplace on Saturday, December 10 at the Library.
