What a fun and musical day we had at Story Hour this week at the Wiscasset Public Library!

Wiscasset’s very own Mat O’Donnell got the children singing and dancing with classic songs played

on his acoustic guitar.  Everyone enjoyed “Old McDonald Had a Farm” and took turns picking animals

and sound to insert into the lyrics.  Some other favorites that got everyone up and moving were Twinkle

Twinkle Little Star, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Row Your Boat.

We look forward to Mat’s return closer to the holiday season for some classic Christmas sing-a-longs.

Story Hour is at the Wiscasset Public Library children’s room every Thursday at 10:30am.  The library is

located at 21 High Street in Wiscasset. For more information call 882-7161. All good listeners are welcome
