Urologist to Speak on Bladder Health for Older Adults

John Karod, MD, of Pen Bay Urology will speak on “Bladder Issues As We Age” on Monday, November 10, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden. Part of Quarry Hill’s “Going Strong” series, the program is offered free to adults age 55-plus.

Dr. Karod’s presentation will cover prevention, management, and treatment of common urological disorders ranging from “frequency” and “urgency” to infections and incontinence. Bladder problems become more common as men and women grow older; yet many shy away from discussing such concerns with their physicians.
