This Summer the Wiscasset Public Library Children’s Room will be having many activities that are open to the community.

Thursday, July 5, Chewonki @ the Library, 3:00 p.m. Animal Adaptations

Thursday, July 12, David Hasenfus shares his Amazing Rock Collection 10:30 a.m.

Monday, July 23, Meet at the library at 10:30 a.m. to walk to Castle Tucker, stories are followed by Family Fun Day, 12 to 2:00 p.m. 

Thursday, August 2, Matt Loosigian rocks the Library! Family Concert @ 4:00 p.m.

Thursday, August 9, Chewonki @ the Library, 3:00 p.m. Fur, Feathers & Feet

 

In house there is Story Time at 10:30 every Friday open to all ages

Each week features a different drop-in craft to either Make and Take, or Take to Make. We have wind chimes, guitar collages, watercolors, rock painting and much more.

Registration is open for the Summer Reading Club. Exciting incentives keep your children reading all school vacation. Don’t let them take the summer slide but support their efforts to succeed in reading. We have a book for every reader.

Lego Club held two Wednesdays, July 18 and August 8 at 10:30 a.m.

Play Bingo and win a book Wednesdays, July 25 and August 22 at 10:30 a.m.

Two Kitchen Science programs are held on Wednesday, July 11, Making Clouds and August 1, Create a Shelter for a glow-in-the-dark caterpillar. Both programs are at 10:30 a.m.
