Except for someone with a special circumstance, the time to pick up an absentee ballot at the Wiscasset town office for Tuesday’s school closure vote has ended.

It ended Thursday, Dec. 4, Wiscasset Town Clerk Christine Wolfe said. The Wiscasset Newspaper reported incorrect information in its Dec. 4 edition.

Beginning, Friday, Dec. 5, someone would need a special circumstance to get one, Wolfe said.
