Bay Chamber Concerts presents “A Broadway Christmas,” part of Rockport's Annual Holiday on the Harbor celebration, Saturday, Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at the Rockport Opera House.

Four Broadway stars straight from New York City will be featured singing a blend of Broadway tunes and holiday favorites; Bay Chamber's Artistic Director Manuel Bagorro will be joined by two members of the Music School faculty, cellist April Reed-Cox and guitarist Malcolm Brooks, and a small choir composed of community members and music school students will perform holiday choral works.

The four Broadway singers have had significant careers in several well-known roles in many of the biggest hits onstage. New York native Ben Moss landed the role of Ernts in the smash hit national tour production of “Spring Awakening.” The 2013 Harvard grad with a degree in English was the recipient of the Radcliffe Doris Cohen Levi Prize for Musical Theater. He's worked with composers and directors at the American Repertory Theater, The Public Theater, Prospect Theater Company, Lincoln Center Theater, and New York Stage and Film.

Georgia native Ryann Redmond received formal training at NYU's Tisch School of The Arts CAP21 Conservatory. She is on faculty at the Broadway Dreams Foundation. Redmond originated the role of Bridget in the Reading, Workshop, World Premiere, National Tour, and Broadway production of Tony Nominated “Bring It On: The Musical,” and performed alongside Idina Menzel, Anthony Rapp, and LaChanze in the original cast of “If/Then” in Washington, D.C. and on Broadway. Redmond is currently starring in the Off-Broadway production of Marvelous Wonderettes at Theatre Row.

Jennifer Damiano made her professional debut at age nine in NYC playing Samantha and Josefina in a show based on the American Girl dolls. Damiano continued to perform in community theater, and in NYC professionally in small roles. She is most known for originating the role of Natalie Goodman in “Next to Normal” on Broadway. She was nominated for the 2009 Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance. She appeared in “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” on Broadway as Mary Jane Watson; the musical opened officially on June 14, 2011. She returned to Broadway in March 2016 in the musical adaptation of “American Psycho.”

Californian Doyle went on to study classical theatre for a year at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Doyle is perhaps best known for his work in “Spring Awakening,” “War Horse” and “The Book of Mormon” on Broadway and as Glenn Mangan/Juliet in the 2011 Shakespeare film adaptation “Private Romeo.” In 2008, Matt Doyle made his first appearance as Jonathan Whitney, Eric van der Woodsen's boyfriend on the CW hit “Gossip Girl.” He has also been developing a singing career and released his first full-length album this year.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for those under age 25. Please visit baychamberconcerts.org or call 207-236-2823 for more information. The Rockport Opera House is located at 6 Central Street in Rockport.
