Benefit bingo for the Giles family March 2

    On Friday, March 2 at 6:30 p.m., the Charles Lilly Post 149 American Legion will host a benefit bingo at its hall in Waldoboro for the Giles family of Boothbay. The Giles family of eight, including three children with special needs, lost their home in a fire on Jan. 30.

    Some of the friends and businesses that have contributed prizes include: Edgecomb Pottery, House of Logan, Shear Artistry hair salon, China By The Sea, Sproul’s Furniture, Two Fish, Salt Pond Gifts, Boothbay Harbor House of Pizza, Hair Express, Puffin’s Nest, River’s End, Two Salty Dogs, Cohen’s Corner General Store, Metcalf’s, On Board Fabrics, Caper’s, King Row Market, Dee’s Variety, Maine Bracelet Company, Jansen’s Clothing, Newcastle Chrysler Plymouth, Sullivan Tire, Jason Lord, Melissa and Charles Simmons, Donna Gregory, Mary Rolerson and Tiffany Thomas.
