Arrests

On August 28 at 7:35 a.m., Officer Polizzotti arrested John Rogers, 48, Boothbay Harbor, for operating under the influence.

On August 31 at 1:27 p.m, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Kyle Cornto, 24, Southport on a probation hold.

On September 3 at 12:43 a.m., Officer Mercier arrested Samuel Mayhew, 29, Boothbay Harbor for operating under the influence.

On September 3 at 5:30 p.m., Officer Upham arrested Michael Cusumano, 36, Boothbay Harbor, for criminal mischief.

On September 6 at 2:18 p.m., Officer Upham arrested Eric Matchett, 25, Boothbay Harbor, on a probation hold.

Summary Report

From Aug. 27  through Sept. 10, BHPD responded to 216 calls. The department conducted six 9-1-1 checks, 12 property checks, two pedestrian checks, four welfare checks, 30 motor vehicle stops, 18 escort/transports, and community policing six times; attempted to locate one person,  assisted eight citizens and with one community paramedicine visit, controlled traffic 13 times, and received police information nine times; and responded to two animal complaints,  seven burglar alarms, one burglary, one civil complaint, two criminal mischief reports, one disabled motor vehicle, four domestic disturbances, two erratic operations, one fire alarm, four fires, one LCRC intake, four loud noises, 28 medical emergencies, four medical alarms, eight motor vehicle accidents, two parking problems, six reports of found/lost property, one sex offense, five reports of suspicious activity, two traffic hazards, one threat, two theft/forgery/fraud reports, one trespassing report, one unwanted subject and one warrant arrest.
