Arrests

On April 18 at 1:55 p.m. on Barters Island Road, Officer Upham and Sgt. Higgins arrested Dustin Thiboutot, 39, of Boothbay Harbor, for violation of conditions of release.

On April 21 at 4:35 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, Officer Polizzotti arrested Heather Manson, 33, of Boothbay Harbor on a warrant for failure to pay fines.

On April 23 at 12:01 a.m., Officer Polizzotti arrested Evan Hepburn, 20, of Boothbay, for operating under the influence, possession of suspended or fictitious license, failing to notify of a motor vehicle accident, and failing to make an oral or written accident report.

On May 5 at 11:59 p.m. on Oak Street, Officer Polizzotti arrested Sean McDonough, 35, of Boothbay Harbor, for violation of conditions of release.

On May 6 at 7:53 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Leslie Cook, 72, of Boothbay Harbor, for operating under the influence.

On May 7 at 1:33 a.m. on Eastern Avenue, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Adam Steers, 39, of Boothbay, for eluding an officer and operating under the influence.

Summary Report

From April 19  through May 7, Boothbay Harbor police responded to 235 calls for service. They conducted eight 9-1-1 checks, 35 property checks, one pedestrian check, four welfare checks, 33 motor vehicle stops, 20 escort/transports, community policing 11 times, and were on special detail five times. They attempted to locate three people, controlled traffic 21 times, assisted 11 citizens, two other agencies, and with five community paramedicine visits, and received police information eight times. They responded to 10 burglar alarms, one animal complaint, one criminal mischief report, one disabled motor vehicle, two fires, five fire alarms, four harassment reports, 20 medical emergencies, one missing person, three motor vehicle accidents, one parking problem, one report of found/lost property, six reports of suspicious activity, one threat, two theft/forgery/fraud reports, two violation of bail conditions and one trespassing report.
