The Artist’s Eye art contest ends May 30

Winner will receive title of Midcoast Artist of the Year

    Time is almost up to join the Boothbay Register/Wiscasset Newspaper in selecting the 2014 Midcoast Artist of the Year. We need members of the public to vote until 3 p.m. Friday, May 30 to select the winner.

    For this contest, each artist should enter photographs of his or her fine art pieces, and share entries with fans, friends and family so they can vote.

    Winners receive the title of Midcoast Artist of the Year, and special recognition on this year's Boothbay Register First Friday Art Tour Web page.

    If you know any well-deserving, talented artists who work in watercolors, pen and ink, pastels, oils, mixed media, acrylics, collage, colored pencils or sculpture, tell them to enter the contest today.
