Christopher Reynolds, 22, died May 9, 2016.

Christopher was born May 27, 1993 in Nashua, New Hampshire. He was raised in Boothbay Harbor and attended Boothbay Region Elementary School and Boothbay Region High School. He also studied for a year at the Discovery Center for Arts and Science in Bath.

Christopher was very active in the drama and music scene, both in the high school drama department and the Y-Arts Chorus. He performed in many plays at the Boothbay Playhouse, with his favorites being “Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “Spamalot.” He also had a beautiful singing voice and loved to play the piano.

Christopher loved sailing and being on the ocean. He spent many summers at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club learning to sail and play tennis. He was on the tennis and golf team in high school, and really enjoyed being part of a team sport.

In the spring of 2010, he spent a Semester at Sea on the Harvey Gamage.

He was active in the Episcopal Diocese of Maine. He was a member of the youth group and went to many retreat weekends, where he quickly became a group leader. He went on mission trips to the Dominican Republic, where he helped to build a bakery, among other projects, to help the community.

For the last two years, Christopher has been attending and working at Southern Maine Community College and being an adult leader of Episcopal youth groups.

Christopher had a great sense of humor and he was an excellent mimic. He could do just about any voice you asked him to do. He was a fountain of information because he loved to research things that he found interesting. He had an infectious smile and laugh and he gave the best hugs.

Christopher is survived by his immediate family, Jill, Larry, Heather, James, Tobias, Glenn, Brandon and many beloved grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at the Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor on Sunday, May 15 at 4 p.m.
