CorgiWalk and Dog Fair at Morris Farm

Wed, 10/11/2017 - 7:45am

The Morris Farm will be having a CorgiWalk and Dog Fair on Oct. 14, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. All dogs are welcome. There will be demonstrations and, stories, costume contests and two walking options. There are spaces available for people to have booths and sell dog related items. A small entry fee is being asked or people can raise pledges and donate money. Gift certificates will be given to walkers who earn over $100.00/ $250.00/$500.00 etc.

Rory, the Morris Farm corgi, will be reading his final installment of the ongoing Chicken Revolt story that has been on Facebook and will have a Kissing Booth.

The fundraising event will be to raise money for CorgiAid, a non-profit organization that helps pay for medical costs for corgis and corgi crosses that come into rescues. Their funding is strictly through small fund raiser like this one. The T-shirts can be ordered on line or purchased at the CorgiWalk. All profits from the T-shirt go to CorgiAid. All other profits are split between the Morris Farm and CorgiAid.

Burgers &Frys will be on site and snacks will be available through the Morris Farm Store. We are hoping to have a fun day with dogs and have the dog community come to together and support this worthy cause. Go to www.morrisfarm.org/corgiwalk or call 207-882-4080 for more information.
