Deanna H. Mansir

Deanna H. Mansir, a resident of Wiscasset and West Melbourne, Florida, died Jan. 26, 2015 peacefully at her home in Wiscasset after a courageous battle with cancer.

Deanna was born on March 15, 1942, raised in Dresden and graduated from Bridge Academy. She was one of six children born to the late Bernard and Esther Bailey and was the beloved wife of Richard E. Mansir for over 55 years.

Deanna will be forever remembered by her loving sisters, Sylvia Jones, Reta Lemar, Bernadine Bailey and Mavis Hinckley, her beloved children, Denise Sutter, Darryl Mansir and Darren Mansir; her treasured grandchildren, Jason Sutter, Jeffery Sutter, Brian Sutter, Justan Mansir, Crystal Mansir, Victoria Rosario and Matthew Mansir; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.

Deanna loved listening to gospel music, going to Israel and being with her family.

Deanna touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Elim Community Church, 1184 Washington Street, Bath with Pastor Brad Mullins officiating. Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Dresden in the spring.
