Dwight Paine, 81, of Waldoboro died and finally joined his beloved wife in heaven on Saturday, June 30, 2012. He died at home after his brave battle with cancer. Dwight was predeceased by his wife, Nancy Paine, who died on July, 20, 2010.

He leaves behind his daughter, Doreen Weiss and granddaughter, Tammy Witham both of Waldoboro; his son, Jerry Paine and his family, wife Carolyn, granddaughters, Holli Paine, Heidi Kambour and great grandson, Tanner Kambour all who live in Florida; two sisters, Barbara McGlauflin of Boothbay Harbor and Judy Latter of Wiscasset along with their families; and last, but not least, his dogs and best friends, Snuggles and Angie.

A service will be announced. Burial will be in the Orff-Achorn Cemetery in Waldoboro.
