Bath artist kdb Dominguez will exhibit her work in the show, “Birds in The Wilderland,” at the Pemaquid Watershed Association office-gallery, starting Monday, Oct. 2 - Monday, Nov. 20. The public is invited to meet the artist at a wine-and-cheese opening reception from 5:30-7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6.

She describes herself as artist, photographer, curious naturalist and passionate observer. Dominguez’s love affair with art and nature is a colorful collision of science and art mixed with graphic elements. She is passionate about nature and uses many mediums and techniques to tell the story of the natural world.  She believes there is a greater force than man, a spirit of love and acceptance that dwells in the gThe public is invited to meet the artist at a wine-and-cheese opening reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6 at the PWA office, 584 Main Street, Damariscotta.

She has explored many different mediums in her artistic endeavors with painting and photography; her favorite mediums are encaustic and acrylic. All living things deserve respect, kindness and reverence every moment of everyday. Respecting nature and each other will lead to understanding and harmony and a life worth living. She is in year four of a Climate Change Project “WilderlandMaine,” which began as a one year project.
