Eva A. Russell, 87, of Rockland died Aug. 17, 2015, at her home following an extended illness.

Born in Bath, June 27, 1928, she was the daughter of William and Helen Erskine Gorham. While growing up in Wiscasset, she was educated in local schools and graduated from Wiscasset High School.

Eva resided many years in Rockland.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Carla Bouchard; two sons, Kevin Brochu in 1991 and Walter Brochu in 1995, as well as a grandson, James Cothran.

She is survived by two daughters, Joi Brochu Scooros of Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Sharon N. Tait of Lackawanna, New York; a special grandson, Victor Bouchard of Colorado; her sister, Evelyn Hanson of Wiscasset; grandchildren, Michelle Tennant, Angela Robbins, Heidi Drinkwater, Joseph Brochu, Jeremy Brochu and James Brochu; several great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

At her request, no services were held.

Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Wiscasset.
