A Wiscasset man was arrested after violating the conditions of his release.

Randee Jarrett, 30, of Wiscasset, was charged with violating the conditions of his release after he allegedly sent text messages to someone he was court-ordered not to contact. Jarrett stated in the court records that the person contacted him via Facebook and Jarrett responded by texting, which went against the court order.

He will have a court date April 30 at Lincoln County District Court.
