The First Congregational Church, UCC Wiscasset, is announcing its schedule for special services for the upcoming 2015 holiday season. The Advent and Christmas season events include the following:

• November 29 at 10 a.m.: first Sunday in Advent worship service
• December 6 at 10 a.m.: second Sunday of Advent, including the “Hanging of the Greens”
• December 20 at 10 a.m.: fourth Sunday of Advent, with a special performance of John Rutter’s “Gloria,” featuring the church choir and guest musicians
• December 24 at 7 p.m.: Christmas Eve Candle Light service
• December 27 at 10 a.m.: Service of Lessons and Carols
