Edgecomb Thrift Shop will have a food and bake sale on Saturday, August 8during the annual Cross Point Rd. Five Mile Yard Sale in Edgecomb from 8 a.m. to noon to raise funds for area winter fuel assistance.

The whole congregation of wonderful cooks and bakers contribute homemade pies, cookies and blueberry muffins. Breads, biscuits and cakes will be offered in addition to Gloria Bailey’s baked beans. Homemade donuts and whoopee pies will be available.

Best of all, the coffee is free and restroom facilities are available for yard salers at the beginning and end of the adventure. Be sure to visit the Thrift Shop’s free table.
