The Learning Center at Boothbay Region Adult Ed began the winter/spring semester on Tuesday, Jan. 17. Prep to take the HiSET high school equivalency diploma, or improve English, math, science, and social studies skills for college. All services at the Learning Center are offered for free and there is no fee to take the HiSET test. The Learning Center is held twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:15 to 8:15.

Did you know people with a high school diploma can expect to earn $10,000 more per year than someone without a diploma? Getting a high school equivalency diploma can open doors to college, new job opportunities and careers. Are you thinking of going to college or returning to finish your degree? The Learning Center also provides help with academic skills in preparation for college placement tests.
