Gloria Jean Kelley, 72, of Lowell Town Road, Wiscasset died Feb. 21, 2015 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick after a long illness.

She was born in Alna on June 6, 1942, a daughter of Florence and Edward (Weaver) Spencer. She attended Waldoboro schools and Waldoboro High School. She moved to Bradford, Rhode Island where she was employed as an inspector at Bradford Dyer Association. On May 5, 2007, she married Newman Kelley.

Gloria enjoyed quilting, gardening, crocheting and cooking.

She is survived by her husband, Newman Kelley, of Wiscasset; three sons, Tyrone Keener of Rhode Island, Todd Keener of Pennsylvania and Toby Keener of Arizona; three sisters, Irene Turner, Edith Achorn and her husband Paul and Evelyn Winchenbach; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Neilson and Blanch Cunningham, and by two brothers, Richard Spencer and Robert Spencer.

There will be no services. Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath.
