    Friday, Aug. 29

    Harbor Crawl Aboard the Rocktide Trolley (Rocktide Inn) — 4 to 7 p.m. (with 92 Moose FM). Eat, drink, shop and be merry all over town.

    Friday, Aug. 29–Sunday, Aug. 31

    Chili Chowder Challenge & Live Music Marathon — a $10 passport gets you two days and three nights of live music (26 acts) and chili and chowder tastings(14 contestants). Who makes the best? That is for you to decide.

    Saturday, Aug. 30

    Art on the Waterfront — 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Waterfront Whale Park, presented by the Boothbay Region Arts Foundation: known for its collection of talented Maine artists and one of a kind pieces that are entertainment for the eye and the mind. Free admission.

    Treasure Hunt — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Waterfront Whale Park presented by MarketingCents4u, this third year event is not only free, but tons of fun and the winner takes home $500 in local treasures.

    The Wailin’ Jennys — presented by the Opera House at Boothbay Harbor: This Juno Award winning trio delivers an irresistible vocal power! Advance tickets $30. Day of show $35.     Sunday, Aug. 31

    5k & Half Marathon and Barbecue — races begin at 9 a.m. at Boothbay Craft Brewery on Adams Pond Road and ends in the brewery's Bier Garten with a traditional Labor Weekend Barbecue and awards ceremony.

    Monday, Sept. 1

    One Happy Harbor Golf Tournament — luncheon at 11:30, shotgun start at 1 p.m., Boothbay Harbor Country Club. Known to be one of the most entertaining golf tourneys of the year, this scramble is more about having a good time than it is about winning. But, of course, it's an even better time if your team goes home with the Happy Harbor Cup!

    Monday, Sept. 1-Friday, Sept. 5

    Restaurant Week — our local version of Maine Restaurant Week, with a twist. We kick it all off over the weekend with the Chili Chowder Challenge and lead right into five nights of creatively prepared menus, at one tasty price. Each participating restaurant will offer a special 3 course dinner for $25 (plus tax and gratuity). Regular menus will also be available. (15 participating restaurants).

    Friday, Sept. 5

    Brews Blues in Bier Garten — 4 to 7 p.m. Boothbay Craft Brewery. Enjoy complimentary live music by Georgia based duo, Crying Wolf, while the brewery offers their homemade brews and tavern menu, available for purchase.

    Saturday, Sept. 6

    Fishin’ For Fashion Show — 2 to 4 p.m. Rocktide Inn. When is the last time you attended a fashion show with models dressed in fishing gear? This one of a kind show will feature custom designs made only with marine related materials and showcase the individual style of our local merchants. Cost is $25 for adults (includes hors d’oeuvres and a wine tasting); $10 for children under 12.

    Saturday, Sept. 6

    Harbor Fest Closing Party — 4 p.m. A free grand finale party on the Rocktide Inn Sea Deck, featuring Crying Wolf Bluegrass Duo and a super fun auction where the highest bidders can go home with one of a kind fishing outfits and local fashions!

    Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 7

    Scenic Yard Sale Tour — A (Yard) Sailor’s Delight! Follow the yard sale map to dozens of homes around the region for a unique second hand shopping adventure with the locals!
