Jeannette E. Annable, 95, died Nov. 19, 2014 at the Gregory Wing of St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor with her loving family and caregivers by her side. Jeannette was born Oct. 27, 1919 in Plymouth, Massachusetts to Vincent and Elizabeth Cavicchi Pirani.

In the mid 1940s, Jeannette and Albert moved to Boothbay where Albert’s great aunt had purchased 200 acres on the Damariscotta River. When Jeannette’s youngest child started kindergarten, she went back to her career as a medical secretary. She worked for Dr. Philip Gregory for 28 years.

In 2000, they sold the riverfront home and moved to Carousel Condos. Jeannette and her family had many special memories at their riverfront homes, especially the annual clambakes for family and friends.

Jeannette enjoyed selling at the Montsweag Flea Market. She also enjoyed sketching fashion, interior design, music, dancing and poetry. She also took belly dancing classes and enjoyed wearing the special outfits. She also enjoyed cats, pineapples, and loved butterflies, as they represent hope and hospitality.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert and by her sisters, Helen and Arlene.
