Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Nine arrests, nine accidents

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a total of 532 calls between March 7 and March 20 and year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,611 calls for service.

Summonses

On March 8, Donna M. Johnson, 29, of Readfield was issued a summons for Failing to Notify of Motor Vehicle Accident, on Cooper Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Chad Gilbert.

On March 17, Tametha M. Ellis, 37, of Nobleboro was issued a summons for Operating While License is Suspended or Revoked, on US Route 1, Nobleboro, by Sgt. Mark Bridgham.

On March 17, Trever R. Coffin, 18, of Nobleboro was issued summonses for Minor Possessing Liquor and Furnishing Place for Minors to Consume/Possess Liquor, on Paradise Road, Bristol, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.

On March 17, the following people were issued a summons for Minor Possessing Liquor, on Paradise Road, Bristol, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck: Jillian A. Page, 18, of South Bristol; Megan C. Cushing, 19, of South Bristol; Austin J. York, 20, of Nobleboro; Evangeline R. Margaritis, 18, of Newcastle; and Nicholas J. Simmons, 18, of Waldoboro.

On March 18, Walter S. Kruse, 51, of Bath was issued summonses for Operating While License is Suspended or Revoked and Violating Condition of Release, on Middle Road, Dresden, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.

On March 19, Arthur Dunlop, 35, of Jefferson was issued a summons for Failing to Maker Oral or Written Accident Report, on Head Tide Hill Road, Alna, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Arrests

On March 6, Norma Carter, 27, of Waldoboro was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, where she turned herself in to Deputy Jonathan Colby.

On March 6, Carmine Moffo, 72, of Bristol was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault, on Massasoit Drive, Bristol, by Deputy Justin Drake, who was assisted by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

On March 7, Sara Paquette, 26, of Rumford was arrested on an Oxford County warrant for Violation of Bail, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

On March 10, Jeffrey A. Peaslee, 30, of Dresden was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault, on Middle Road, Dresden, by Deputy Jonathan Colby.

On March 15, Alfeleti Vailea, 34, of Boothbay was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault, at Boothbay Harbor Police Department, Boothbay, by Detective Scott Hayden, for an incident which occurred on March 4, 2018 in Boothbay.

On March 16, Logan Sewall, 33, of Bath was arrested for Violating Condition of Release, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, where he turned himself in to Deputy Jonathan Colby.

On March 18, Robert Wilkie, 55, of Boothbay was arrested for Domestic Violence Assault, on Butler Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

On March 19, Mason W. St. Louis, 19, of South Bristol was arrested for Operating under the Influence and Motor Vehicle Speeding: 30+ MPH Over the Speed Limit, on Main Street, Damariscotta, by Sgt. Matthew Day.

On March 19, Benjamin K. Chute, 23, of Newcastle was arrested on a Lincoln County warrant for Failure to Appear, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Detective Terry Michaud.

Accidents

On March 12, an accident occurred on Country Club Road in Boothbay involving Trina L. Lewis, 47, of Boothbay and Harold P. Mansfield, 74, of Boothbay. Ms. Lewis was operating her 2006 Ford F-150 southbound and merging onto Country Club Road from Butler Road. Mr. Mansfield was operating his 2008 Chevrolet Malibu southbound on Country Club Road when Lewis struck his vehicle. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

On March 12, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Jefferson involving Philippe Sanze, 47, of Warren. Mr. Sanze was operating his 2004 Kia Sorrento eastbound when a mechanical failure occurred in the right front tire. This resulted in Sanze being unable to steer the vehicle, which resulted in his vehicle leaving the roadway and striking a tree, causing front end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.

On March 12, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Joe F. Da Silva, 53, of Friendship and Derrick Bustard, 25, of Jefferson. Mr. Bustard was making a left turn into a driveway in his 2014 Chevrolet 1500 when Mr. Da Silva, who was operating his 2006 Nissan Altima southbound, failed to see Bustard turning. Da Silva applied his brakes and struck Bustard’s vehicle in the passenger side center of his vehicle. Sgt. Mark Bridgham was the investigating officer.

On March 14, an accident occurred on State Route 129 in South Bristol involving Jessica M. Kelsey, 39, of South Bristol. Ms. Kelsey was operating her 2006 Toyota 4Runner northbound when she lost control due to the snow-covered roadway. As a result, her vehicle left the roadway and struck a ledge, causing front end damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.

On March 14, an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Jefferson involving Nicole A. Walter, 28, of Bristol. Ms. Walter was operating her 2001 Hyundai Elantra northbound when she lost control on the snowy roads and crossed the center line. Her vehicle then went off the roadway on the left side and struck a CMP pole. Detective Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.

On March 15, an accident occurred on State Route 32 in Bristol involving Nicholas E. Meiggs, 23, of Waldoboro. Mr. Meiggs was operating his 2001 Dodge 1500 northbound when he lost control of his vehicle and went into a ditch. Reserve Deputy Michael Elwell was the investigating officer.

On March 15, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Brandon W. Johnston, 25, of Jefferson. Mr. Johnston was operating his 2009 GMC Sierra southbound when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed into the northbound lane and struck a telephone pole. Deputy Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.

On March 16, an accident occurred on Center Street in Nobleboro involving Roger E. Drake, 81, of Nobleboro. Mr. Drake was operating his 2014 Chevrolet Silverado northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and struck his vehicle. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

On March 16, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Jessica Drisko, 24, of Jefferson. Ms. Drisko was operating her 2011 Subaru Outback southbound and approaching a curve, when she experienced a medical event. As a result, she lost control of her vehicle, over corrected and went into a skid before striking a tree and rolling her vehicle over onto its left side, off the roadway. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.
