Maureen Berry

Maureen (Glynn) Berry, 75, of East Kingston, N.H. and formerly of Boothbay, North Reading, Mass., and Lynn, Mass., died peacefully June 29, 2014.

Born in Lynn, Mass., on September 13, 1938, she was the daughter of the late George W. Glynn and Elisabeth (Quinn) Nelson.

Maureen started her career as a secretary for the General Electric Company in Lynn, moving to other opportunities, she ended her career at the Revlon Corporation as an Account Executive.

Maureen had been a resident of Boothbay for the past 12 years, where she was a member of the Barters Island Community Association. She was a former resident of North Reading for over 30 years. This past year, she and her husband resided in East Kingston, N.H.

She enjoyed boating and antiquing with her husband of 53 years. She always enjoyed entertaining friends and family. Maureen had a quick wit and always had a smile on her face. Her family was everything to her.

Family members include her loving husband of 53 years, Keith A. Berry; her son, Mark Berry and his partner, Maria Spina of North Reading; her daughter, Laurel Ford and her husband, Dennis Ford of Derry, N.H.; her sister, Alma McGinnis of Wells; grandchildren, Daniel, Patrick and Kaleigh Ford and great grandson, Oliver Ford.

Her funeral service will be held at Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Monday, July 7 at 11 a.m. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.
