May events at Schooner Cove

Learn more about Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce, enjoy a piano concert, and be entertained by a “Backyard Birds” presentation at Schooner Cove in Damariscotta this May. These events are free and open to the public.

Jerry Wiles will present why Chief Joseph was best known for his resistance to the U.S. Government’s attempts to force his tribe onto reservations. Happening Monday, May 8 at 1:30 p.m.

Sean Fleming will play the piano in the library on Monday, May 15 at 3 p.m. A resident favorite.

John Weinrich, vice president of the Mid-Coast Audubon Society, will present “Backyard Birds” on Thursday, May 25 at 2 p.m. Participants will learn more about spring birds and their migration and habitats.
