Mildred Lenore Johnson, 85, died March 10, 2016 at Autumn House West in York, Pennsylvania after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

She was the wife of the late Phil H. Tindall and the late B. Vann Johnson.

She was born June 16, 1930 in Farmerville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Dane and Esther Garwood.

She was the owner and operator of Mid Tour Guide in York, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Junior League of York.

She loved her home in Boothbay Harbor, where she spent time volunteering and practicing Chinese brush painting.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a son, Scott Tindall of Edgecomb, and many nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by a son, Terry D. Tindall.

Funeral  services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library.
