Mickey was a great father, son and brother. He was a giving man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He is loved by many.

Mickey was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, John Thompson Sr., and by his maternal grandfather, Milton “Mickey” Farrington.

He leaves behind his beloved son, Nicholas “Nick” Spiller; mother, Millie Thompson; father, Daniel Thompson I and companion Candy; brother, Dan Thompson II and companion Britney; paternal grandmother, Norma Thompson; maternal grandmother, Jane Farrington; aunts and uncles, Mindy and Barry Lee, Polly and Peter Boynton, Tanya Wallace, Jack and Barbie Thompson, and Cathy Wheeler; many cousins, nephews, great aunts and uncles, his sidekick, Ben, and many beloved friends.
