‘Money smart for older adults’ at Spectrum Generations

With over 50 million Americans aged 62 and older, older adults are prime targets for financial exploitation both by people they know and trust and by strangers. Join Patricia Lane, Vice President and Branch Manager for Bath Savings Bank in Damariscotta on Dec. 8 at 10 a.m., at Spectrum Generations Coastal Community Center, 521 Main Street in Damariscotta for a “Money Smart” workshop for older adults.

The workshop is designed to provide community members with information and tips to help prevent common frauds, scams and other types of elder financial exploitation in your community especially during the holiday season. The fee:is $5. To register, please call 563-1363.
