Monty Python reunion at the Lincoln Theater in August

Story Location:
2 Theater Street
Damariscotta, ME 04553
United States

For the first time in over three decades, the legendary Monty Python performed live on stage together this summer. Captured live on stage at London’s O2 Arena, “Monty Python Live (Mostly)” will now screen twice at Damariscotta’s Lincoln Theater, first on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at 7 p.m. and encored Thursday, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m.

At a combined age of just 358, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin once again perform some of their greatest hits, with modern, topical, Pythonesque twists.

Monty Python is rightfully regarded as among the world’s finest-ever group of comedians. They influenced a generation and revolutionized comedy. Come look on the “Bright Side of Life” while awaiting the “Spanish Inquisition” and watching out for the “Dead Parrot.”

Tickets are $15/adults and $13/Lincoln Theater members. Purchased tickets through the theater’s office at 207-563-3424 or by visiting the theater at 2 Theater Street in Damariscotta during summer hours (Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon).

Tickets will also be available one hour before showtime at the door. Additional information can be found at www.atthelincoln.org.
