Thu, 11/12/2015 - 11:15am

The Morris Farm of Wiscasset had a great year and wants to thank all those who made it possible. The Morris Farm will host a potluck dinner on Thursday, Nov. 19 at its 156 Gardiner Road location. The dinner will have two seatings. The first is at 5 p.m. The second starts at 6:30.

The Morris Farm wants to thank its many benefactors who helped make the past year a success. Those benefactors include the Wiscasset school system, the Master Gardeners Program, community garden participants, and Bowdoin College students.

The Morris Farm also wants to thanks its vendors, board of directors, Americorps Vista volunteers, agriculture educator, and all those who unselfishly donated time and money to the Morris Farm’s mission.

“We are fortunate to have forged relationships with many in our community who value what the Morris Farm contributes,” said a spokesman. “We just want to say thanks!”

The Morris Farm potluck dinner includes turkey, “all the fixings,” and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. The guests are allowed to bring their own bottle (BYOB).

Guests are encouraged to sign up on the farm’s website, www.morrisfarm.org, call 882-4080, or email, info@morrisfarm.org to reserve a spot and sign up for a dish to bring.
