Power outages

    Update: By 8:40 p.m., all but 277 Boothbay customers had gotten their lights back and South Bristol was the county’s new leader in outages, with nearly the whole town out.

    Nearly a third of Edgecomb’s 900 customers lost power. Dresden’s outages hovered just under the 200-mark through morning. Alna, Southport and Westport Island all had small numbers of outages.

    Edgecomb Fire Chief Roy Potter said his department got no storm-related calls.

    Original post: Shortly after 5 p.m. December 21, Lincoln County had 2,254 Central Maine Power customers without power.

    Boothbay had the most customers out, with 1,143.

    Most of the county other outages in Lincoln County were in Boothbay Harbor, with 263 customers out; Dresden, with 197 out; Bristol with 162 out and Newcastle with 106 out.

    25 customers were without power in Wiscasset; Edgecomb, 4; Southport, 6; and Alna, 3.

    Westport had no reported outages so far.

    In Sagadahoc County, Woolwich had 117 out.
