In praise of Aaron Robinson

    Dear Editor:

Since I live in the Great Pacific Northwest I only just received my March 2 issue of the Register. I was delighted to see a headline banner at the top of the first page “Aaron Robinson world premiere in May” and to then read the article inside. I’ve known Aaron for a number of years now and his talent and good taste never cease to amaze.

I hope a number of your readers will be able to attend the May 4 or 5 performance of “This Will be Our Response to Violence” at the Bowdoin College campus in Brunswick. I’m going to start my drive across country a week earlier than planned in order to be there myself!

I thank the Boothbay Register, and Lisa Kristoff in particular, for the fine article on Aaron. Those of you who may have attended some of our Studio 53 Fine Art receptions over the past several years have probably heard Aaron playing the piano on the main floor of the gallery as well as our harpsichord on the third floor. ( I suppose we ought to get him a pipe organ too!)
