Beer and shades of yesteryear were part of the main event Saturday, July 21 as Boothbay Railway Village hosted Rails, Tails and Ales and the 55th annual Antique Auto Show.

Turnout was a bit down from previous years as temperatures hovered in the 90s with high humidity most of the day. Attendees viewed the vintage, antique, hot rods, muscle cars and much more parked on the Village Green. Local favorite,The Murky Water Band provided music. There was a special visit by the ubiquitous Mr. Peanut. Wristband tickets and passports enabled guests to enjoy 10, 4-ounce beer tastings from noon to 4 p.m.
