Rebecca Lynn Brown (Becky Clark), 49, died February 16 in Brunswick.

She was born on April 6, 1964 in Boothbay, the daughter of Patricia and Napoleon Gagne of Bath. Her biological father is Gary T. Clark, whereabouts unknown.

Becky attended schools in Bath and previously worked at the Plant Memorial Home.

Becky was a Senior Soldier with the Salvation Army in Bath and regularly attended church and Bible Study at the Bath Corps. She also spent time volunteering with the church youth groups, vacation Bible School, Christmas Castle and wherever she was needed or could lend a hand. She especially enjoyed cooking for all of her family and friends and would regularly prepare their favorite dishes and surprise them with a complete prepared meal.

Becky enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, despite battling and surviving cancer and fighting a long time battle with COPD, she never stopped making her family important and putting their needs before her own. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, taking care of them, playing games, reading to them and crafting.

She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She would often spend time with them shopping or crafting and was always there for them when they needed a ride or help with something.

Becky also loved “yard sailing,” gardening and reading. She had a soft heart when it came to caring for animals as well as other people. She made sure that she always had seeds for the birds and peanuts for the squirrels. She would take care of any animal in need and cared for several cats and dogs.

Becky had a wonderful and sarcastic sense of humor and loved teasing people. For all the love she showed to her family and people, she will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Becky was predeceased by both of her parents, Patricia and Napoleon Gagne of Bath, and a brother, Jimmy Clark of Boothbay

She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Richard R.
