Republican caucus planning underway

    Lincoln County Republicans will conduct caucus training for upcoming Republican caucuses on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Newcastle Community Center, 86 River Road. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 followed by the Lincoln County Republican Committee (LCRC) regular business meeting at 7 p.m. Topics of the business meeting will include the 2018 priorities and a discussion of the caucus, planned speakers, and candidates attending.

    Boothbay Republicans will caucus on Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Boothbay Town Office and Bristol will caucus on Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. at the Bristol Town Hall. The County Caucus will be held on the afternoon of Feb. 17 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Great Salt Bay School, 559 Main St. Damariscotta, with Republicans from all the towns of Lincoln County in attendance. Republican candidates for Governor and Congress as well as candidates for local House and Senate districts will attend the county caucus which will also include a straw poll of the gubernatorial candidates.
