Savory Maine’s September music series lineup will feature popular local musicians every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. These Midcoast musicians entertain and delight diners at the Damariscotta restaurant.

Giff Jamison, who plays on Sept. 4, draws from folk, blues, jazz and rock influences (Dylan, Bromberg, Reed, Mahal, Costello, Kaukonen), but his roots are country blues and finger style guitar.

On Sept. 9, Gary McCue and Lora Stanchfield return, followed by Kathi Nordone on Sept. 11. A little Americana, folk, country, inspirational and gospel, Nordone will be joined by several musician friends.

Stan Davis, who plays and sings a mix of traditional and original songs, from the blues to lyrical hymns about modern country life, returns Sept. 16. On Sept. 18, Heather Hardy will be joined by Sara Powers (13), Riley Golding (14), and Mina Toscano (14). These three young singer-songwriter/musicians don't play music together, but they have a lot in common. Powers, Golding and Tocano all have strong, interesting singing voices, play guitar and sing original songs and covers. The teens will start the evening's entertainment and Hardy will finish off the night.

Sylia Tavares who plays classic folk and original compositions will be joined by Gary McCue on Sept. 23; singer/guitarist Brian Cullen returns Sept. 25 to play contemporary and Broadway tunes and in the Brazilian, Flamenco, Spanish and classical styles.

Dave Martin will close out September on the 30th with an eclectic mix of ragtime, classical and contemporary pieces on solo acoustic guitar.
