Spring celebration and supper hosted by Lincoln County Democrats

Thu, 04/30/2015 - 1:15pm

Lincoln County Democrats plan to celebrate the end of a long, cold winter with good food, good friends and good conversation at a spring celebration from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, May 2 at Mobius, Route 1 in Damariscotta. This dinner and social will be a great opportunity to get together with friends and enjoy a tasty and nutritious meal. Everyone is welcome.

The menu includes roast pork loin with gravy, mashed potatoes, maple carrots, an organic salad bar, Borealis Bakery bread, home-made desserts (including gluten-free) and beverages.

Valarie Johnson, organizer, announced the theme of the supper is: “Let’s celebrate spring and plant seeds of change for 2016.”

Two features of the event will be a 50/50 raffle, which is a tradition at LCDC’ fundraisers, and a plant sale where indoor and outdoor plants, including some heirloom varieties, will be available for can’t-be-beat prices.

Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for children five and older, $30 for a family of four, and no charge for children under 5. All proceeds will be used to support Lincoln County Democratic Committee campaign activities in 2016.
