Sue Rankin Lloyd, 89, of Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida and Boothbay, died at her Boothbay home on Saturday, June 30.

She was born April 3, 1923.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Lloyd and John DelVecchio of Bradenton, Florida and Boothbay; son: Randy Lloyd of Sarasota, Florida; grother and sister-in-law, Dan and Susan Rankin of Boothbay Harbor and Vero Beach, Florida; and nieces and nephews in North Carolina, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.

She was predeceased by a son, Robbie Lloyd, who died in 1981 and a sister, Nancy Rankin Heider.

No formal funeral arrangements have been made as per Sue’s request. An informal private family gathering is being held here in Boothbay. A separate celebration of life will be done later in Florida.
