Wanser’s Natural Market owner Kate Winslow and Merry Auld Tea Company owner Mary Norwood have merged their two businesses to offer the region a fantastic new market and gathering tea/coffee room.

Merry Auld Market & Tea Co. has opened its doors in the same great location that Wanser’s Natural Market occupied, the Old Boothbay Fire Station, 1038 Wiscasset Rd. in Boothbay.

Kate and Mary have been working together already for the last couple of years and have some amazing new ideas for the new market. They will still offer healthy and special dietary options such as gluten free, vegetarian/vegan and grain free choices, as well as options for the non-restricted diets, catering to those who enjoy healthy, homemade local food. They are offering daily specials of soups, salads, wraps, sandwiches and sweets to be enjoyed in the new seating area of the market or to take home or back to work. The market will still be offering Wanser’s signature smoothies, local grass fed organic meat, poultry, locally made pantry staples and Merry Auld Tea Company’s premium teas blended right here in Boothbay.

Stop in to check out the newly added, quaint seating area. Gather with friends over a lovely pot of tea or coffee or savory/sweet treat. Follow us on Facebook to see what’s new!
