Whitefield party results in arrest, summonses

On Saturday Sept. 17 at about 9:20 p.m., Lincoln County sheriff’s deputies located a birthday party on Main Street in Whitefield.  During their investigation, they identified 11 juveniles between the ages of 14 and 17, who were charged with possession of liquor and later released into the custody of their parents.  These cases will be referred to a local juvenile community corrections officer for review.

Additionally, five adults were issued summonses for possession of liquor and another for possession of a usable amount of marijuana.  Charged with possession of liquor were Jarod Dye, 19, of Hallowell, Kevin Stebbins, 19, of Gardiner, Jakob Church,18, of China, Avery Murphy-Anderson, 19, of Brunswick and Devon Klockow, 20, of Brunswick. Zachary Glidden, 18, of Whitefield was charged with possession of a usable amount of marijuana.  All of these cases have an initial appearance date in Lincoln County Unified Court of Oct. 27 at 8:30 a.m.

Deputies arrested the owner of the residence, Sean Pignatello, 50, and charged him with furnishing a place for minors to consume alcohol. Pignatello was transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset, where he was processed and later released with a court date in Lincoln County Unified Court of Oct. 27 at 8:30 a.m.

Deputies are continuing to gather information into this incident. Once the investigation is complete, it will be forwarded to the Wiscasset District Attorney’s Office for review.
