One Wiscasset fire truck and a crew of five Wiscasset firefighters were at the Dresden fire station Sunday night, Oct. 26, while Dresden firefighters remained at a Richmond fire scene, Wiscasset Deputy Fire Chief John Merry said.

Merry was one of a few Wiscasset firefighters at Wiscasset’s fire station while an engine and crew remained in Dresden. Dresden’s department was helping Richmond with a structure fire on Front Street, Merry said.

The fire was reported at 7:49 p.m. Sunday, according to the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office. Further information was not immediately available.
