St. George Municipal School Unit K-8 Instructional Administrator St. George School is a community-centered K-8 public school of approximately 200 student. We are committed to academic excellence, community engagement, Expeditionary Learning (EL), and shared leadership. Our shared leadership model operates with a K-8 Instructional Administrator who supports, guides, and coordinates teacher teams; focuses on teaching, learning, and curriculum; manages disciplinary procedures; and supports family communication and engagement. The Instructional Administrator facilitates the Leadership Team and is responsible for teacher evaluations. We are looking for an innovative person with experience at a variety of grade levels to serve as the K-8 Instructional Administrator. The ideal candidate will be able to work with individual teachers and facilitate high functioning teacher teams, understand how to incorporate best practices into the reality of the classroom, and have a commitment to and experience with EL education. The K-8 Instructional Administrator reports to the Superintendent. This position requires a Maine administrative certificate. Applications will be accepted until a suitable candidate is found.
