The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 320 calls for service for the period of Sept. 2 to Sept. 9. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,329 calls for service.
Summonses
Andrew R. Ostrovsky, 22, of Dresden was issued a summons Sept. 2 for Operating after License Suspension – 1 prior, on Water Street, Dresden, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
David B. Rinaldi, 34, of Portland was issued a summons Sept. 3 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, - 1 prior, on Main Street, Damariscotta, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Sheldon J. Lavway, 27, of Union was issued a summons Sept. 5 for Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs, on East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Lisa M. Prior, 51, of Bremen was issued a summons Sept. 5 for Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs, on East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Arrests
Christian Elie, 58, of Woolwich was arrested Sept. 2 for Operating under the Influence, on Clover Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson, who was assisted by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Caleb R. Moody, 20, of Waldoboro was arrested Sept. 2 for Violating Condition of Release, Operating Vehicle without a License and Minor Possessing Liquor, on Waldoboro Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.
Ronald M. Shellman, 51, of Bremen was arrested Sept. 3 on a Knox County warrant for Failure to Appear, on Pine Lane, Bremen, by Deputy Brandon Maciuba.
Steve R. French, 55, of Vassalboro, was arrested Sept. 4 for Violating Condition of Release, on Pleasant View Ridge Road, China, by Detective Matthew Ryan, who was assisted by Detective Justin Drake.
Brittany J. Lilly, 37, of Dresden was arrested Sept. 5 on two warrants for Failure to Appear, One warrant was out of Knox County and another out of Cumberland County. She was arrested on Middle Road, Dresden, by Detective Matthew Ryan.
Graham M. Deleo, 32, of Waldoboro was arrested Sept. 5 on a Cumberland County warrant for Violating Conditions of Release on a Domestic Violence charge, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Matthew Ryan.
Casey G. Bowden, 37, of Sabattus was arrested Sept. 8 for Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drugs (Fentanyl); Violating Condition of Release; Cumberland County warrant for Failure to Appear; York County warrant for Failure to Appear; Kennebec County warrants for Failure to Appear, No Bail Violating Condition of Release warrant and a warrant for Theft, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Accidents
On Sept. 2, an accident occurred on River Road in Newcastle involving Hayden Friant, 18, of Bristol. Mr. Friant was operating his 2009 Mazda 6 southbound when he fell asleep at the wheel and crossed the center line, went off the road to the left and struck a utility pole, causing significant damage to the driver’s side. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 7, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Bonnie P. Wormwood, 50, of Westport Island. Ms. Wormwood was operating her 2016 Jeep Cherokee northbound when a deer entered the road and was struck, causing minor damage to the front of her vehicle. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
