After School Clubs REBOOT

Tue, 12/07/2021 - 2:15pm

After school clubs are back at BHML!

We will reboot two popular clubs and we’ll welcome a new club for older students.

Lego Club
Wednesdays from 2:00-3:00pm
Join Children’s Coordinator, Jen, in the Kids’ Room to explore the world of engineering by building amazing lego creations!

Minecraft
Wednesdays from 2:00-3:00pm
Join Community Technology Coordinator, Bethany, in the Technology Room to explore new worlds and engineer virtual creations of your own!

Girls Who Code
Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm

Girls Who Code is a nonprofit that aims to close the gender gap in the world of technology. This club is an opportunity for 5th-12th grade girls and non-binary students to join a network of supportive peers and role models using computer science to change the world. For more information call the library and ask for Bethany or email her at tech@bbhlibrary.org.

BHML’s Girls Who Code Club will be led by two awesome volunteers who are Bigelow scientists by day, girls who code by night!
