Boothbay Lights and the Boothbay Winter Festival 2021!

Drop by the Boothbay Commons starting Friday, November 19 and visit our mobile library prototype: Pop-Up BHML! We will have gently used books and BHML merchandise for sale—just in time for the holiday season.  There will also be free take-and-make crafts available for kids, plus a cornucopia of exciting FREE activities at Winter Festival as well as a very special live stream Storytime with Mr. & Mrs. Claus for Boothbay Lights!

Winterfest Storytime, Saturdays, 12:15 pm (Boothbay Common)
November 20 through December 18.  Enjoy some hot chocolate and a story on the Common.

Zumba-thon with our very own Miss Meg. This is a free Zumba class for all! $10 donations encouraged, and all proceeds will go to launch BHML’s “Books for Babies” initiative.

Cardmaking! Drop-in to make a card for someone special.  All supplies will be provided.

Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:00 PM in December (Boothbay Common)
Coding on the Common with the tech team Bethany and Bailey. As long as the computers don’t freeze, we’ll be projecting coding games on the side of the trailer, taking turns watching, coding, and drinking hot chocolate!

Critter Meet & Greet with Saffron & Honey Homestead
Saffron and Honey is a small homestead in Windsor, Maine dedicated to the breeding and care of endangered heritage  breeds.  They live on just under five acres where they raise Soay sheep, San Clemente Island Goats, American Buff geese, several heritage chicken breeds and American Chinchilla rabbits. Come meet a few of their friends!
